About Quarmup

Why Quarmup exists

Recurring group activities fall apart when nobody knows if enough people are showing up. Quarmup fixes that.

The problem
You organize a weekly pickup game, a book club, or a running group. Every week it's the same routine: message the group chat, wait for replies, count heads, and hope enough people commit. Half the time you're still guessing an hour before the event.
What we're building
Quarmup replaces the guesswork with a clear system. Set a minimum headcount for your event, collect RSVPs through email, and let Quarmup tell the group when quorum is reached. No more tallying, no more “is this still on?” messages.

What we believe

Quarmup is built around a few ideas that shape every feature.

Email-first
Members should be able to RSVP from their inbox without downloading an app or remembering a password. Lower friction means higher participation.
Private by default
Groups are private. Your roster, your events, and your data stay contained to the people you invited. You can open things up when you want to, not before.
Quorum, not vibes
A clear threshold removes ambiguity. When enough people say yes, the event is on. Everyone knows the status without asking.

Built for real groups

Quarmup is designed for the groups that actually meet in person on a regular basis — and for groups that mix in virtual sessions. Pickup basketball, book clubs, running crews, game nights, and anything else where “do we have enough people?” is the first question every week.

Small private groups with their own rosters and thresholds
RSVPs from email with no app or password for members
Automatic go/no-go status when the threshold is met
Virtual or in-person event modes, with optional no-threshold events
Guest controls and open/private group visibility settings
