Quorum-first group coordination

Features built for recurring events

Quarmup helps your group stop guessing. Set a minimum headcount, collect RSVPs through email, and automatically confirm when the event is on. Need more flexibility? Run virtual or in-person events, use optional no-threshold mode, and tailor guest + visibility rules.

Create a group
Add members, set default thresholds, and keep each group isolated: roster, settings, and history.
Schedule an event
Set the date, location, and attendee logic that fits your group. Run in-person or virtual events and choose threshold-based or no-threshold (always ON) coordination.
Reach quorum
When you use a threshold, the group gets clear ON/OFF status automatically. When you choose no-threshold mode, events are always on and RSVPs stay optional.

What you can do in Quarmup

Flexible coordination for real groups: threshold-based or always-on events, virtual or in-person formats, and guest + visibility controls that match your group style.

Email-first RSVPs
Members RSVP from email with no app and no password required. Organizers sign in via a magic link (no passwords). The goal is lower friction and higher participation.
Thresholds or always-on mode
Use quorum thresholds when turnout determines go/no-go. Or set no attendee threshold when an event should be considered ON regardless of RSVP count.
Virtual or in-person events
Host in-person events with saved locations, or switch to virtual mode with a meeting link and time zone support for cleaner remote coordination.
Guest controls per group and event
Choose whether members can bring guests, set guest limits, and adjust guest access by context instead of using one global rule for every event.
Open or private group visibility
Keep groups private by default, or use open visibility when you want link-based access. Control exactly how discoverable and accessible each group should be.
Invite mode permissions
Set invite policy by group: admin-only invites, member invites with admin approval, or member invites with automatic approval.

FAQ

Common questions about how Quarmup works.

What is Quarmup?
Quarmup is a group event coordination app for recurring activities. You set a minimum headcount (a quorum), invite members, and Quarmup tracks RSVPs and tells everyone when the event is on.
How does a quorum threshold work?
A quorum threshold is the minimum number of “Yes” RSVPs required for an event to officially happen. Once the threshold is met, Quarmup can notify the group so nobody has to manually count replies.
Can I run events without requiring RSVPs?
Yes. You can create events with no attendee threshold. In that mode, the event is treated as always ON, while members can still RSVP if you want visibility.
Can I run virtual events?
Yes. Events can be virtual or in-person. For virtual events, use a meeting link and set a time zone for clarity.
Do members need to download an app?
No. Quarmup is designed to be email-first: members RSVP from their inbox with no app and no password. Organizers sign in via a magic link sent to email.
Is Quarmup free?
Yes. Quarmup is free to sign up in open beta.
Can I run more than one group (basketball, book club, running crew)?
Yes. Quarmup supports multiple groups, each with its own roster, thresholds, and event history.
Can I control guest access and guest limits?
Yes. You can allow or restrict guests at the group and event level, and set per-person guest limits for each event.
Can groups be open or private?
Yes. Groups can be private or open, and you can choose invite mode rules such as admin-only invites, member invites with approval, or member invites with auto-approval.
Is Quarmup private?
Yes. Quarmup is designed for small private groups first. When you need to expand, you can enable options like guest access and more shareable/public-style links depending on your settings.
